As flawed human beings that make mistakes, “re–” is a prefix that resonates with us. It is the prefix of second chance. It is a forgiving prefix, because it says we can have another try. It is a courageous prefix because it dares to go back and make things right. It is a hopeful prefix because it says that there are possibilities beyond the perceived limitations. This Easter, April 8, celebrate the Resurrection with Grace Community Church, as we look at 4 underused but amazing re– words: Rebirth, Redemption, Reconciliation, and Regeneration.
In February of this year, 16 members of Grace Community Church travelled to Haiti to help further the work of our church and school in Labouderie, just north of Port-au-Prince. Check out the video. Grace has a special arrangement with our mission partner, CPR-3, that allows us to send people on this trip for $500 per person, plus the cost of airfare. Our next trip will be in October. If you or someone you know might be interested, please contact us and our trip coordinator will get in touch with you.
